In November, Dicken students and staff were invited to participate in a read-a-thon to raise money. We were unable to have our usual fall fundraiser — a fun run — so we asked people to pledge for minutes read instead of laps run.
This was a great fundraiser for us, bringing in nearly $15,000. It also encouraged lots of Dicken students to really add some extra reading minutes to their day!
